This cruise included Turkey and Libya. mv Discovery is an older boat but is well maintained with friendly Filipino crew and the food was better than we expected. Our booking was problematical but in the end were upgraded to a nice Promenade deck cabin. Daytime entertainment was mainly the lectures. Most lecturers had poor communication skills ie no pictures or powerpoint. Port destination advice was the best we have ever seen and there were often free shuttle buses at the destinations. Many of the excursions were visiting old roman sites etc which were fine but the tour guides really stayed in the museums for too long. At least there were no ghastly inappropriate shopping stops.
